Article 6 – Organizer Review and Shortlisting of Applications

A dedicated committee of creative, marketing, and human resources experts within the Organizer's organization (the "Initiative Committee") will review applications based on these Competition Regulations and study their admissibility. Any application that is incomplete and/or inconsistent with these Competition Regulations and/or submitted late and/or contains false or misleading information, will be deemed null and void, with the Organizer having no obligation to inform the concerned Candidate thereof nor detail the grounds for its decision, and without the concerned Candidate being entitled to any indemnification. This is applicable at any stage of the process of the Initiative.

Amongst admissible applications, the Initiative Committee will short-list up to twenty-five (25) applications (individually, a "Finalist", and collectively, the "Finalists"), based notably on the following qualitative criteria: brief understanding and analysis, presentation skills, written and oral French and/or English proficiency, flat and 3-D drawings done by hand, computer-assisted skills, 3-D rendering, luxury marketing and fashion trends knowledge, as well as an understanding of Louis Vuitton's style codes and heritage. The list of Finalists, including their name and picture, as well as a photograph of their creation, may be made public, which the Candidate accepts. In case the Organizer considers that some entries present the same quality level, the Organizer may short-list additional Finalists over and above the initial 25 Candidates.

Article 7 – Finalists' complementary information

Finalists' participation in the next steps of the Initiative process is subject to the following conditions: each Finalist must sign an affidavit provided by the Organizer with terms consistent with the models annexed as Appendix 1 to these Competition Regulations and must comply with the commitments and guarantees set forth therein.

The Organizer will send the affidavit to be signed by each Finalist, to the e-mail address indicated at the time of registration on the Website. Each Finalist must return the affidavit within a period of ten (10) calendar days from the date of reception, failing which the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, decide to exclude the concerned Finalist, without the concerned Finalist being entitled to any compensation or indemnification. The Organizer shall then be free to choose another Finalist from the list of other Candidates. In this case, the new Finalist must submit a signed affidavit within the timeline set out by the Organizer.

Finalists' participation in the next steps of the Initiative process is further subject to the Finalists providing all required additional documents, items, and information deemed necessary by the Organizer.

The Organizer will send the list of required documents, items, and information to each Finalist, via the e-mail address indicated at the time of registration on the Website, if applicable.

Each Finalist will have to provide this information within the same period of ten (10) calendar days as mentioned above from the date of reception, failing which the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, decide to exclude the defaulting Finalist, without any compensation or indemnification. The Organizer shall then be free to name a new Finalist from the other Candidates. In such a case, this new Finalist must submit the necessary documents, items, and supporting information, if applicable, within the timeline communicated by the Organizer.

The list of Finalists including their names, pictures/videos (such as their introduction videos) and presentation of their projects may be made public in a press release issued by the Organizer, which will be made available on the Website and/or on the Louis Vuitton corporate website, and/or by any other means determined by the Organizer, which the Candidate hereby accepts.

Article 8 – Final Jury Selection

Once completed and approved by the Initiative Committee the Finalists' applications will be submitted to a jury of high-profile professionals (creative, marketing, human resources) nominated by the Initiative Committee from within the Organizer's organization (the "Jury").

The members of the Jury will select up to five (5) Initiative winners (the "Winner(s)") from the chosen Finalists based on the following qualitative criteria: brief understanding and analysis, presentation skills, written and oral French and/or English proficiency, flat and 3-D drawings done by hand, computer-assisted skills, 3D rendering, luxury marketing and fashion trends knowledge, and an understanding of Louis Vuitton's style codes and heritage. The Candidates understand and accept that The Jury is not required to select a Winner if the quality of the applications is not deemed to meet the relevant qualitative criteria.

Before making its decision, the Jury may interview every Finalist in France, or any other location determined by the Organizer.

If the interview does not take place in the city where a Finalist is located, the Organizer will cover the pre-approved, reasonable costs incurred by the Finalist for transportation and lodging. These costs will be reimbursed upon presentation of the corresponding receipts or paid directly by the Organizer. Any costs relating to personal insurance, airport services, excess baggage charges, visa fees, and all other personal expenses (laundry, telephone, beverages, room service, tips, etc.) of the Finalist are to be paid in full by the Finalists.

The decision of the Jury is final. No appeal shall be admitted. The Jury's deliberations and the vote of its members will remain confidential.

Article 9 – Announcement of the Name of the Winner(s) and Presentation of the Louis Vuitton Accessories Design Graduates Initiative

The name of the Winner(s) will be made public in a press release issued by the Organizer, available on the Website and/or on the Louis Vuitton corporate website and social media and/or by any other means determined by the Organizer. The public press release will notably include the name, picture, and general information about their project, which the Candidate accepts.

The Organizer reserves the right to inform the Winner(s) personally, subject to the Winner(s) undertaking to keep this information confidential until the official public announcement by the Organizer.

The selection of the Winner(s) will be presented at a public ceremony arranged by the Organizer, during which the Winner(s)' creations will be presented, which the Candidate accepts. The Winner(s) will be required to attend the ceremony, which the Candidate accepts.

Article 10 – Louis Vuitton Accessories Design Graduates Initiative

Depending on the quality of their application(s), one or more Winner(s) may be offered a fixed-term contract (by LVM or one of its affiliated companies), to answer the then current needs within Louis Vuitton's leather goods and accessories teams. This offer will be subject to customary conditions but will not be rescinded if the Winner does not graduate. The Jury can also, at its discretion, offer a long-term employment contract (CDI) to a Winner instead of a fixed-term contract, depending on the needs of the Organization.

Considering the nature of the prize, the Winner(s) will not be entitled to any other form of compensation, even if the Winner(s) does not accept the above-mentioned offer.

The offer is strictly personal and may not be transferred to or used by any person other than the Winner(s) to which it has been granted. The Winner(s) may not assign or transfer the rights and obligations derived from the prize to a third party.

The Winners' project will undergo prototyping development to familiarize the graduate with the process as well as the constraints of manufacturing and industrialization. At this point, the Winner(s) will be granted access to Louis Vuitton's premises and the necessary resources, in accordance with the contract entered into between Louis Vuitton and the Winner. The profiles of the Winner(s), their projects within the framework of the Initiative, as well as their developed prototypes created at one of Louis Vuitton's ateliers may be used for communication purposes both internally and externally, as well as for the promotion of the Initiative.
